Though schools are currently closed to the majority of pupils during the third national lockdown, many have remained open to support the children of key workers.
But as snow continues to fall on Wakefield and the Five Towns, these are all the schools that have been forced to close their doors completely.
The Priory Centre, Lupset

Hide AdThe Priory Centre is closed due to snow, but is expected to reopen tomorrow (Friday, January 15).
Dane Royd J & I School, Hall Green
In a note on its website, Dane Royd J&I School said: "Due to continued snow fall, school will close at 12:15pm.
"If you can collect your child before this time please do so. If you are collecting your child before 12:15pm, please come to the school gate by the office.
"At 12:15pm, remaining children will be in their class groups on the playground to meet parents.

Crofton Junior School is closed to all students due to adverse weather.
Carlton J & I School, Pontefract
All students have been sent home from Carlton J&I School as snow continues to fall.
Badsworth CE (VC) J&I School

Airedale Infant School
A post on the school website reads: "Due to heavy snow fall we have had to take the decision to close school to maintain the safety of children, parents and staff.
"Children are safe and warm in school however, please make arrangements to collect your child as soon as possible. Please collect your child from their usual entrance/ exit.
"A prompt decision will be made regarding opening tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding and support."
