LETTER: A coat of paint is needed for the Hepworth
It might be improved with a coat of paint but ,in the name of art I tolerate the eyesore.
However it now appears the Art directors Guild of Wakefield think that it can be improved by building a 12 foot wall in front the edifice.

Hide AdI believe it is supposed to be some sort of sound barrier for a ‘secret garden’ but will probably end up as a canvas for Wakefield’s street artists.
Surely the million pounds that it has cost could have been spent on something more worthwhile?
I was always told that when you are in a hole- stop digging.
Please stop digging and at least give it all a coat of paint.
