The market at the Grade I-listed building also featured a pets corner with rabbits, cockroaches, a snail and a skunk.
There was also a 20ft by 40ft model railway and craft stalls selling a wide range of items from knitted goods to jams, chocolates and sweets.

Hide AdThe event raised £2,500 which will go towards Project 2015, to renew the cathedral’s east end.
Terry Rigg, cathedral fundraiser said: “The event went really well and raised an impressive amount for the cathedral funds.
“The pets corner was a real hit especially with the children. Several of them were cuddling the snakes, the skunk, the owls and even the tarantula.
“The dean of the cathedral, the Very Rev Jonathan Greener was very pleased but he is terrified of snakes.
“It will certainly be an annual event and we may even book the animals back on their own in the early spring.”
