Celebrity Gogglebox: Fan-favourites Jane McDonald and best friend Sue to return for new series that starts this weekend

She will be joined on the sofa by her best friend of 30 years, Sue Ravey, who moved into Jane’as home following the tragic death of her longtime partner, Eddie Rothe to lung cancer in 2021.

Jane and Sue became fan-favourites after they appeared in the last series of Celebrity Gogglebox in 2023.

Now the pair will become some of the nation’s favourite armchair critics once again, when the new series starts this Friday.

Sharing to social media, superstar Jane said: “Sue and I are back on Celebrity Gogglebox! Turn the TV on and get the snacks ready!!”

The pair will join other returning celebs such as Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, from dance group Diversity, and TV presenter and naturalist, Chris Packham CBE.

The new series of Celebrity Gogglebox begins this Friday, May 7 at 10.10pm on Channel 4.
