Travellers given 4pm deadline to leave Heath Common

They told police that they were travelling back from Appleby and were only staying a few days after setting up camp on Sunday night.

But today (Monday) officers from the Normanton and Featherstone neighbourhood police team served them with a Section 61 notice which means they have to leave the common by 4pm today.
